The above devices may be considered less suitable for pets, as their paws or snouts may come loose and possibly overturn the container.
In addition, it becomes difficult to clean the device from unwanted food residue in the container attachment. There is a need for a portable device for pets, which is better suited for travel and in an organized way includes all the necessities for a pet, and to reduce a traveler's packing difficulties. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The object of the invention is to provide a device for pets, which comprises a sleeping pad and at least one food / water bowl, which cannot be emptied unintentionally by the pet.
This object is achieved in the device specified in the first paragraph above in that in accordance with the present invention said one half 2 has a recess for fitting the container 4 therein, and that said one half 2 has a thickness which at least corresponds to the height of the container, so that the container 4 is recessed in said one half 2 and has a top edge substantially in plane with an upper side of said one half 2 when the device is in the unfolded position. In one embodiment it is suitable that said area 10 in said one half 2 has a body of such rigidity that the weight of the pet is not able to deform the body to such an extent that the container 4 is released from its fitting in said one half 2.
Thereby the risk is reduced that the pet by its weight would squeeze said one half 2 in the thickness direction so much that the container 4 detaches from its fitting.
In order to completely eliminate the risk, the body in the said one half 2 preferably consists of hard foam, e.g. styrofoam. Hard foam also has the advantage that its density is low, so that the device becomes easier to carry with it, especially when it is intended for a large pet.
In order to contribute to a comfortable lying area for the pet, said second half 3 and a possible lying area 8 in said one half 2 suitably have a body of soft cellular plastic, often called foam plastic, or foam rubber.
The device in the folded position is suitable for transport and can be exposed to large weights, such as other suitcases or the like, which objects can deform the soft foam. Therefore, laminated walls 7 can be placed on the outside of the device, which protect the foam and retain the shape of the device.
In order for the device to withstand being subjected to wear and other hardships, the said two halves 2, 3 preferably have a surface of waterproof and non-slip material 9, wherein it is suitable that said second half 3, when the device is in the unfolded position, has a top side of a material which is attached to the waterproof and non-slip material 9 in a lying-friendly material. There is no risk that the foam will absorb water, nor that the pet will slip on the device.
The container 4 suitably consists of a material selected from metal, plastic or paper.
Metal and plastic are durable, but sometimes require washing, while disposable packaging of paper material may be preferable on certain occasions.
In order to retain food or liquid in the container 4 during transport, it is suitable that the container 4 comprises a lid or a peelable foil or similar closing means.
Preferably, the two halves 2, 3 have a rectangular shape, and the container 4 is placed along a short side or in a corner of the said one half 2. The rectangular shape means that the device, without becoming awkward, can be easily dimensioned so that a large pet is allowed to lie down 8, and by placing the container 4 along a short side or in a corner, it is possible to ensure that the pet stands on the device and weighs it down when eating or drinking when it is placed in a suitable position in relation to the surroundings.
In order to be able to hold the two halves 2, 3 of the device in closed position towards each other, it is suitable that the device is provided with closing means 6, which during transport hold the said two halves 2, 3 against each other, such as Velcro, at least one zipper or cooperating magnets .
In order to make it easier for the owner of the pet to take the device with him, it is preferably provided with carrying means 5, such as a handle and / or a shoulder strap.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS In the following, the invention will be described in more detail with reference to preferred embodiments and the accompanying drawings.
Figure 1 is an end view of the device in the folded position.
Figure 2 is a plan view of a preferred embodiment of the device according to the invention in the unfolded position.
Figure 3 is a cross-sectional view taken in the unfolded position. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS Referring primarily to Figures 1-3, the basic principles of the invention will be described by means of a first embodiment, shown in these figures, whereby the differences from previously known devices will simultaneously to be clarified.
As shown in Figs. 1-3, the device according to the invention consists of a device for pets comprising a hull 1 with two interconnected and collapsible halves, one half 2 comprising an area 10 for receiving a container 4, and at least the other half 3 is designed as a sleeping place 8 for the pet, characterized in that said one half 2 has a recess for fitting the container 4 therein; and that said one half 2 has a thickness which at least corresponds to the height of the container, so that the container 4 is recessed in said one half 2 and has a top edge substantially flat with an upper side of said one half 2 when the device is in the unfolded position.
It should be emphasized in this connection that the schematic embodiments shown in Figs. 1-3 mainly show the functional and principled construction of the device. Thus, the device has a berth side 8 and laminated walls 7 on the opposite side.
In another embodiment, the berth 8 of the device may have a pillow or toy attached (not shown / drawn). Alternatively, the lying area can be covered with a warm blanket to increase the pet's well-being.
Fig. 1 shows the device in the folded position ready for transport. In this position, the container 4 is filled with food or liquid according to the owner's own opinion. When the container 4 is provided with a lid or a tear-off foil, spillage or leakage of food / bag on the vehicle's carpet is avoided.
Preferably, the rectangular shape of the device is most suitable for transport.
Those skilled in the art will appreciate that various modifications and changes may be made in the form of the present device, such as e.g. circular or square shape. Similarly, the location of the container, as shown in Fig. 2, may include other locations. The location can be determined by the size of the pet and these embodiments are included in the invention.
Fig. 3 also shows a closure member 6 located at the edges of the halves 2,3 for suitable closure in the folded position. The device is provided with closing means 6, such as Velcro straps, at least one zipper, string, cooperating magnets or corresponding means. During transport, the device is preferably also provided with support means 5, such as a handle and / or a shoulder strap or the like. Although the invention has been described above with particular reference to a number of exemplary embodiments of the invention, it should be emphasized that this is not to be limited in its scope by these examples. Thus, it should be clarified that the invention is in no way limited to the device shown in Fig. 2 with two containers and an area of hard foam, but the device also comprises other variants.
Those skilled in the art will appreciate that various modifications and changes may be made to the present invention without departing from the scope of the invention as defined by the appended claims.

A pet device comprising a hull (1) with two interconnected and collapsible halves, one half (2) comprising an area (10) for receiving a container (4), and at least the other the half (3) is designed as a lying place (8) for the pet, characterized in that said one half (2) has a recess for fitting the container (4) therein; and that said one half (2) has a thickness which at least corresponds to the height of the container, so that the container (4) is recessed in said one half (2) and has an upper edge substantially in plane with an upper side of said one half (2) when the device is in the unfolded position.

Device according to claim 1, characterized in that said area (10) in said one half (2) has a body of such rigidity that the weight of the pet is not able to deform the body to such an extent that the container (4) is released from its fit in said one half (2).

Device according to any one of claims 1-3, characterized in that said second half (3) and a possible lying area (8) in said one half (2) have a body of soft foam.
